Shri Vijay Krishna Tripathi was born on January 18, 1953, in Kala Kakar, Pratapgarh. Raised in a literary family, his father, Shri Radheshyam Tripathi, was a well-regarded Hindi poet, which significantly influenced Tripathi’s passion for Hindi literature. Shri Tripathi completed his Master’s degree (MA) in English from Allahabad University and started his career as a lecturer. He later moved to Sonbhadra, where he served as the Principal of a Government Intermediate College until his retirement in 2013. Post-retirement, he has devoted his time to writing novels, short stories, and poetry. He is also appointed as a member of the Salahakar Hindi Sahitya Samiti for NITI Aayog, Government of India. He has published two collections of Hindi short stories, and his work frequently appears in various newspapers and literary journals.
